Life, cancer & critical illness insurance — your price in one minute

Three plans from LIA Assurex, priced on your age, gender and the amount you want covered. CashBack is a 15-year term life plan that gives you all your premiums back at the end if you never claim. CancerProtect pays a lump sum on the first diagnosis of a major cancer. CriticalProtect pays a lump sum on the first diagnosis of a covered critical illness: 5, 13 or 39 illnesses depending on the option. Both lump-sum plans pay you, on top of any hospital policy you have.

Premiums are from the insurer's 2026 rate card, in US dollars per year. They are indicative and subject to the Company terms: the policy is issued by LIA Assurex after its medical questionnaire and underwriting. Kite Insurance Broker handles the whole process for you at no extra cost.

What you should know

CashBack — how it works

15-year term life that refunds 100% of the premiums paid if the 15-year cycle ends without a claim. Cover is 100% from day one for death by accident or sickness. At the end of the 15-year cycle, if there was no claim on the basic cover or on any rider, LIA refunds every premium you paid during the cycle, in the same currency.

  • Entry age 18–60 (non-renewable) · 18–45 stated for the renewable option (to be confirmed); disability rider up to entry age 50; minimum premium USD 100.00 a year.
  • TPD paid 20% + 30% + 50% of the sum insured over 24 months after a 6-month proof period, premiums waived meanwhile.
  • Guaranteed renewability to age 75 as a level term policy after the cycle (no CashBack on renewal), no new medicals.
  • Reducing the sum insured during the cycle keeps the refund; increasing it is written as a new policy.
  • Main exclusions: suicide within 2 years; war, terrorism and civil commotion (unless the passive war rider is added); radioactive or chemical contamination; aviation other than as an airline passenger; hazardous sports unless practised for leisure, supervised and within the safety rules (diving to 20 m).
CancerProtect — how it works

Lump sum paid once, on the first diagnosis of a covered major cancer. 5-year plan with guaranteed renewability to age 65. It pays you, not the hospital, so the money can go to treatment abroad, a second opinion, ambulatory chemotherapy, or simply lost income while you recover.

  • Entry age 18–59, cover ends at 65; 5 years, renewable without medicals at the rate of the attained age.
  • Waiting period 90 days from inception (and on any increase); survival period 28 days after the diagnosis.
  • Not covered: cancer in situ; skin cancers other than malignant melanoma that has invaded beyond the epidermis or progressed to at least stage T2N0M0; prostate cancer before stage T2N0M0; papillary thyroid cancer before stage T2N0M0; Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma before Ann Arbor stage 2; leukaemia that has not caused anaemia; gastrointestinal stromal tumor unless progressed to at least stage T2N0M0 or with a mitotic rate greater than 5 per 50 hpf; pre-malignant, non-invasive or borderline conditions, CIN 1–3.
  • Any cancer, pre-malignant condition or listed symptom known before the proposal date is excluded.
  • Other exclusions: self-inflicted injury or suicide; alcohol or drug abuse; war, terrorism and active participation in unlawful acts; nuclear, radioactive or chemical contamination; combat sports, skiing, gliding, parachuting, bungee jumping, mountaineering, professional sport and diving with equipment; HIV-related conditions.
  • Cancellation: pro-rata refund without penalty.
CriticalProtect — how it works

Lump sum paid once, on the first diagnosis of a covered critical illness. 5-year plan with guaranteed renewability to age 65. Like CancerProtect, it pays you, not the hospital: the money is yours to use for treatment abroad, rehabilitation, adapting your home or lost income.

  • Option 1 covers illnesses 1 to 5, option 2 illnesses 1 to 13, option 3 all 39.
  • Entry age 18–59, cover ends at 65; 5 years, renewable without medicals at the rate of the attained age (the sum insured at renewal can stay the same or go down).
  • Paid once, on the first ever diagnosis of a covered illness; the policy then ends.
  • Waiting period 90 days from inception, from any reinstatement, and on any increase of the sum insured; survival period 28 days after the illness is diagnosed.
  • Any covered illness, surgery or condition present, diagnosed or with known symptoms before the proposal date is excluded (heart attack, bypass surgery, heart transplant and stroke count as one condition).
  • Main exclusions: intentionally self-inflicted injury or suicide; chronic alcohol abuse or drugs not prescribed by a doctor; war, terrorism and active participation in unlawful acts; nuclear, radioactive, chemical or biological contamination; aviation other than as a passenger of a commercial airline; combat sports, skiing, gliding, parachuting, bungee jumping, mountaineering, professional sport and diving with equipment; HIV-related conditions (except HIV through blood transfusion and occupationally acquired HIV, which are covered illnesses under option 3).
  • Territory: Worldwide; Iraq and non-Arab African countries subject to specific underwriting; Somalia, Mauritania, Djibouti, Sudan, Yemen and North Korea excluded.
  • Cancellation: pro-rata refund without penalty.
